Technology
The GOLD SCAN III combines pulse induction technology with active metal discrimination and 3D visualization. The detector evaluates metal signals through waterproof search coils and can transfer measurement data wirelessly via Bluetooth to the KTS 3D visualization app on the supplied tablet computer. This helps professional users evaluate the approximate size, shape and type tendency of buried targets more clearly during field work.

How it works
The GOLD SCAN III works with pulse induction technology. The detector transmits magnetic pulses through the connected search coil and analyzes the response from conductive metal objects.
In addition to classic PI detection, the device offers active metal discrimination and metal type indication. The touch display can show useful information about detected targets, while the supplied tablet computer can visualize measurement data in the KTS 3D app.
Bluetooth data transfer allows wireless communication between detector and tablet. This makes the system suitable for professional field work where users need not only a signal, but also additional clues about target size, shape and metal type tendency.
