About Us
KTS Electronic Gmbh & Co. KG develops and produces state-of-the-art equipment in the sector Pulse Induction metal detectors and GPA 3D Ground Penetrating Analyzers. Our detectors are employed worldwide and of great assistance to our customers in finding precious treasures, they ease the discovery of gold deposits and are furthermore a helpful tool in the location of miscellaneous metals in the ground.
Our customer base includes not only private gold seekers and hobby treasure hunters but also internationally operating companies as well as public authorities. It is expected that our detectors can be deployed on difficult ground also, such as rocky terrain or heavily mineralized soil and nevertheless can deliver good results.
Engineers and technicians of KTS are working continuously in the development of new detectors, such as a higher performance in deep sounding and a low weight, which are able to relieve the search of our customers. In this context we always make sure, that we manufacture in a sturdy design, so that our devices can be used for many years.
Made in
Germany
KTS-Electronic was already founded in the early 1990ies under the name “KT-Sicherheitstechnik” in Moerfelden-Walldorf as place of establishment and began its activities as “Spezialgeschäft für Metallsuchgeräte”. Soon after the company was the German general distributor for several major manufacturers and furthermore qualified itself as an accepted service station.
With a master’s degree in electronics our company founder used his experience which he acquired over the years with various detectors and developed as of 1995 the first own metal detectors. Since we have reserved the domain www.metalldetektor.de at the beginning of the Internet era we could reach many customers over the new distribution channels countrywide and abroad. The company’s central location at the Frankfurt airport has led many national and international customers to Moerfelden
Meanwhile KTS-Electronic employees a number of engineers, technicians and service representatives and counts itself among renowned manufacturers of Pulse Induction Metal Detectors and the 3D Ground Penetrating Analyzer series.
Product history
The world-famous GPA series – often copied but never equaled
As the official German manufacturer, we have been producing various metal detectors and 3D ground scanners for more than 25 years.
The following KTS detectors are no longer produced. Of course, we offer still services for older KTS metal detectors, because thousands of older KTS devices are still in use worldwide. The current KTS models can be found here: product overview
2008 KTS introduces the GPA 1000 model. The new GPA 1000 impressed with its higher search performance and became a bestseller.
2nd Generation GPA 1000 available since 2013
3rd Generation GPA 1000 available since 2016 with GOLD SCAN II. Today we produce the latest 4th generation as GPA 1000 XS.
In 2006 KTS introduced the first GPA ground scanners. The GPA XL series (GPA XL 2, GPA XL 8 and GPA XL 16) made it possible to detect metals and cavities deeper.
In 2012, KTS introduced the GPA DUO-XL. The duo model is operated with the GPA universal probe.
In 2015 there was an update in a compact design.
The successor model GPA 500 has been on the market since 2016, currently the compact successor model GPA 500 XS is offered
The GPA ground scanner with the highest performance will be offered in 2016 as the GPA 3000 with the new vertical 1 meter super probe. The compact successor model is offered as the GPA 3000 XS and is one of the best ground scanners on the market.
The GPA 1000 is popular not only with our customers, but also with competitors and counterfeiters from abroad. Several providers from Turkey, China, Indonesia, Iran or Dubai offer counterfeits, or have adopted the model name “GPA 1000” in a similar or modified form and pretend to be German companies.
In 2007, the KTS development team developed the first metal detector that can be connected to a computer and uses visualization software to provide more information about the find. PULSE SCAN consisted of the PULSE AR III and the additional electronics PULSE SCAN.
