More than 6m (20 feet) depth-activity: Only with large search-coils it is possible to locate larger objects in a depth of more than 6 meters. In comparison, conventional detectors with one coil only allow a searching depth of less than 5 metres.

Larger searching-areas: You can scan large areas with a 1 m x 1 m (40") coil (Pulse-induction technology) convenient and quick. (For example: For scanning a football ground you only need 3-4 hours! With a conventional tool with a normal coil you would need weeks!)

Undisturbed Searching: Saltwater, mineralized grounds are no problem for PULSE AR III because with the help of the Reset button, most of the disturbing mineralized stones that lead to errors can be neutralised. Most of the mineralized grounds contain stones with metallical characteristics, which are denounced by most of the detectors. You can neutralize most of the stones with the PULSE AR III (in this case the searching-activity can be reduced a little)

 

 

Differentiation of metal for medium and larger objects: The PULSE AR III can identify metallical objects beginning at a size of 5x5 cm (conventional metal detectors can only differentiate very small metallic items). You can save a lot of work in practice if deep lying metallical objects can be identified by its metal kind.

Automatically self-adjustment of 5 different search coils: To reach the optimal searching-depth, an adequate search coil should be chosen depending on the size of the object. The PULSE AR III works with a variable searching-frequency in between 1200-1600 Hz, thereby you can work with different kinds of search coils with no problems. The various search coils for the PULSE AR III can be cable-connected easily to the electric unit, because a special switching mechanism controls the electricity of the coil and adjusts automatically the adequate searching-frequency.

The PULSE AR III is constructed for searching large, low lying metallic items. It is adapted for master practioners, who want to locate low lying metallic items in a large area without locating little items, as for example rusted pins or lids.

 

The pulse-induction-technology is able - only with a largecoil - to scan in best time large areas and to locate larger items in a depth of over 6metres. For scanning an area in the size of a football ground, you only need 3-4 hours! With a conventional detector with a normal coil you would have to search for weeks! With the use of the different search-coils (accessories: 25 or 45 cm coils), also little and medium objects can be located. In this way the optimal searching-depth can be reached, the adequate search coil should be chosen depending on the size of the object. The various search coils for the PULSE AR III can be cable-connected easily and without any additional adjustment. Because the special electric unit inside the PULSE AR III controls the electricity of the coil and adjustes automatically the various coils.

To differentiate various kinds of metals the PULSE AR III is equipped with a microprocessor-controlled conductibility-registration, so that metals like iron – gold – silver are differentiated separate from each other and shown on the display.

MODE: The MODE adjusting knob can be switched in 4 different positions:
- OFF: The tool is switched off
- BATT.: Check-up of the battery – The condition of the accumulator battery is shown on the display
- ALLM.: All-metals search-mode without differentiation of metal kinds
- DISC: Discriminator – searching-mode with differentiation of metal kinds

Comment:

• With the 25 cm and 45 cm search coils you can also locate smaller metallic items, i.e. coins, depending on its size until a depth of over 40 cm.


• For metallic items, which were buried in the ground for a long time, the depth-activity raises by 20%.


• The smaller search coils allow metallic objects, which lie vertically in the ground to be traced in the centre of the coil - horizontal lying metallic objects can be traced on the verge of the coil.
