The electronic unit is responsible for signal processing and synchronisation of sensor data. The measuring data of the 16 sensors are transmitted to the electronic unit and read there and arranged by a special software, which is pre-installed on the PC.
The Ground Penetrating Analyzer (GPA) has highly developed microprocessor steered magnet sensors, which recognize each small soil change (anomalies of soil). The GPA series uses an electromagnetic measuring method. Usually, each floor has a homogeneous magnetic field, so far as the items are not disrupted by voids and excavations(especially metal objects). Our GPA series can detect due to solid measurements of magnetic field changes by metal containers, crates voids and excavations. The Ground Penetrating Analyzer (GPA) is immediately operational. You only have to connect the electronic unit to the sensor unit – no time-consuming assembling necessary! The sensor unit of the Ground Penetrating Analyzer (GPA) consists of altogether 16 sensors, which are distributed on 1 meter (3,2 feet) horizontal probe. Concomitant it has a weight of only 1500 g. The entire hard and software are pre-installed and with the computer start are automatically indicated on the PC system. Thus the highly complicated equipment is to be served very easy. Due to the compact building method and the small total weight of the equipment (electronic unit with PC = approx. 2.5 kg, probe with telescope bar = approx. 1.5 kg) is it also useable on difficult areas, without any problems.
The electronic unit is responsible for signal processing and synchronisation of sensor data. The measuring data of the 16 sensors are transmitted to the electronic unit and read there and arranged by a special software, which is pre-installed on the PC. Afterwards the data will digitized and transfered to the PC. Owing to the high performance PC system a radio transmission of measuring data and a video transmission of 3D representations with an additional hardware are not necessary. On the front of the electronic unit are 4 light emitting diodes (LED). They serve for announcement of the operating and battery status as well as PC connection. The synchronized data will transfer via USB connection on the ultra mobile PC. In the context of the 3D-KTS software the measuring data can be shown in 2D and 3D- representations. The electronic unit is equipped with a Ultra mobile PC:
The horizontal probe has 16 highly developed microprocessor-controlled magnet sensors. These high performance sensors can measure each smallest soil change (anomaly of soil). The measuring data are transmitted thereby the cable with 24 pins from the probe to the electronic unit. During the operation of the Ground Penetrating Analyzer (GPA) the horizontal probe is carried at the telescope bar. The aluminum telescope bar is adjustable heights and can be divided into three parts. The horizontal probe is 1 meter long (3,2 feet) and has a diameter of 4 cm (1,57 Inch). With a weight of only 1500 g is a comfortable search ensured.
